Job N Job was founded by Abdul Hameed Mirza in 1977 on a single principle: pair the right person with the right role, and everything else takes care of itself. Two generations on, the principle still holds.
The Founder
Abdul Hameed Mirza founded Job N Job in 1977. The firm started small and disciplined: take a brief seriously, understand the role, find the right person, stand behind the work. There were no shortcuts. There was no "good enough" candidate.
The firm built its early reputation across the Middle East in the 1980s and 1990s, deploying skilled engineering, oil and gas and construction talent at scale. Clients included the Kingdom's national oil company, the region's largest construction conglomerate and Kuwait's energy sector. The work was demanding, the standards were high, and the relationships lasted.
Akbar Mirza joined the family business in 2002. He spent five years working alongside his father before becoming Group CEO in 2007, after Abdul Hameed Mirza's passing.
The firm is family-owned today. AHM Corp was formalised on 2 May 2024 as the family group, named in his father's honour. Job N Job remains the lead recruitment brand, working across the UK, USA, Canada, UAE and KSA, alongside Cipher7, the group's digital consulting practice. The values are unchanged from 1977: specificity over volume, honesty about fit, long relationships over short wins.

1977
Abdul Hameed Mirza founds Job N Job on a single principle: pair the right person with the right role, and everything else takes care of itself.
1980s — 1990s
Large-scale deployment of engineering, oil and gas and construction talent across the Kingdom's national oil company, the region's largest construction conglomerate and Kuwait's energy sector.
2002
Akbar Mirza joins the family business and works alongside his father across the firm's senior client relationships.
2007
After Abdul Hameed Mirza's passing, Akbar becomes Group CEO. The firm remains family-owned and family-led.
2008
The London office opens as the firm's UK headquarters, anchoring the international practice in the City and extending the firm's senior consultant base.
2010
The Dubai office opens, bringing the firm's long-standing Gulf relationships in-region and supporting placements across the UAE and wider GCC.
2014
Cipher7 is launched in the UK as the group's digital consulting practice, sitting alongside Job N Job to handle technology-led engagements.
2023
Cipher7 expands into the UAE, bringing the group's combined recruitment and digital consulting capability to Gulf clients in-region.
2023
Independent certification of the firm's quality management system across recruitment, talent acquisition, HR outsourcing, global placements and training (Certificate 201208-01).
May 2024
AHM Corp is formalised on 2 May 2024 in London as the family group, named in honour of Abdul Hameed Mirza. Job N Job remains the lead recruitment brand, alongside Cipher7.
Nov 2024
Job N Job opens in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, led by Country Head Faisal Alotaibi, completing the firm's five-market operating footprint across the UK, USA, Canada, UAE and KSA.
Cyber Essentials
Independently certified cyber hygiene controls across endpoints, identity, data and supplier risk.
